2021 Annual Meeting

The Scientific Program Committee is pleased to announce the 8th Annual Meeting of the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society. The PRiSM Board of Directors and the PRiSM Scientific Program Committee have been monitoring the course of the COVID-19 pandemic and the unfortunate trends that heighten concerns over safety and the need for physical distancing. After careful deliberation we have made the decision to change our 2021 Annual Meeting from an in-person event to an entirely virtual program featuring a mix of live streaming and recorded sessions.

We felt it important to make this decision now in order to assure ample time to plan a stellar meeting in a fully virtual format. Although we are disappointed that we won’t be able to see each other in Houston January 28-30, 2021, our commitment to providing you with high quality and engaging sessions to meet your CME/educational needs remains the same.

We will be working closely with our meeting faculty to develop optimal virtual presentation formats for all those sessions you look forward to every year: keynote, case presentations, scientific sessions, instructional courses, posters and more.

PRiSM will provide you with updates as work progresses on our new virtual format. In the meantime, keep your calendars marked for the 2021 Virtual PRiSM Annual Meeting, January 28-30, 2021.

We also want to announce that plans are underway for the 2022 Annual Meeting, we hope to see you in Houston January 2022!

Decisions regarding abstract acceptance went out in late September. A final scientific program agenda is forthcoming, and will be available on the website soon.

BE SURE TO USE THE #PRISM2021 HASHTAG AT THIS YEAR'S MEETING!
