Lauren Butler, PT, DPT, SCS Pre-Conference Workshops & Add-Ons Pre-Conference Workshop Pediatric MSK Ultrasound Procedures Hands-On Workshop Wednesday, January 27, 2027, 1–4 pm This hands-on ultrasound workshop will focus on ultrasound-guided procedures in pediatric sports medicine. It is designed to provide foundational knowledge for those beginning their journey in pediatric MSK ultrasound, while also offering advanced learning opportunities for experienced practitioners seeking to expand their procedural expertise in the skeletally immature athlete. The workshop will feature concise lectures presented by experts in pediatric sports medicine and MSK ultrasound, followed by hands-on sessions led by expert clinical instructors. Participants will practice ultrasound scanning with real pediatric patient models and perform ultrasound-guided procedures using animal models, with a focus on common pathology of the elbow, wrist/hand, knee, ankle/foot, hip, and shoulder. Pre-Conference Workshop Arthrex Pediatric Sports Medicine Surgical Course Wednesday, January 27, 2027, 1–4 pm This course is intended for current pediatric or sports medicine fellows and early career surgeons. The Arthrex-sponsored surgical cadaver lab will focus on common procedures in pediatric sports medicine, including ACL reconstruction, MPFL reconstruction, and Bankart repair. It is designed to provide a hands-on experience led by expert pediatric sports medicine surgeons. The lab will highlight different techniques for each procedure, in addition to the various Arthrex implants that can be utilized. The lab will also spotlight the new Arthrex 4K Nanoscope technology in the knee and shoulder, as well as small joints such as the elbow and ankle. The workshop will feature concise lectures presented by PRiSM faculty, followed by a hands-on cadaver surgical experience. Location This add-on lab takes place off site at the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Surgical Training and Education Center, 60 Columbia St, Orlando, FL 32806. Space is limited. Priority is given to current orthopedic sports medicine fellows; early career surgeons may attend pending availability. New for PRiSM 2027: One-on-One Ultrasound Education One-on-One Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Teaching Sessions 45-minute sessions, Wednesday, January 27 – Saturday, January 30, 2027 Enhance your PRiSM experience with one-on-one, hands-on musculoskeletal ultrasound instruction led by expert faculty. These 45-minute sessions are tailored to your experience level and learning goals, allowing participants to focus on the joints, structures, and scanning techniques most relevant to their interests. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced ultrasound user, this unique educational opportunity provides individualized feedback in a one-on-one environment designed to maximize learning. Scanning models range from child to young adult. Twelve time slots are available between Wednesday, 1/27/27 and Saturday, 1/30/27, with four (4) attendees per time slot. Space is limited. Registration Cancellation Policy All cancellations for the PRiSM 2027 Annual Meeting must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected]. Cancellations must be received by January 4, 2027. A $100 cancellation processing fee will be charged for cancellations received through January 4, 2027. No refund will be given for cancellations received after January 4, 2027. *Your email send date will be used to determine any cancellation refunds. All deadlines are 11:59 pm CST. The hotel features a 24-hour fitness center, on-site dining, and convenient access to Disney Springs via a pedestrian skybridge. Guests can also enjoy shuttle transportation to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. PRiSM has reserved a block of rooms at a special group rate for meeting attendees.
