NOVA Pediatric Orthopaedics is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, Fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty interest and/or fellowship training in Sports Medicine. The successful candidate will join a thriving private practice with a Sports Medicine Pediatrician and an 1,100 square foot physical therapy space, in an environment that balances clinical autonomy with a collaborative team approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized surgical and non-surgical care for pediatric and adolescent sports injuries
• Opportunity (not mandatory) to take call in the general pediatric orthopaedic call rotation at Inova Children’s Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)
• Collaborate with in-house physical therapists and athletic trainers, with opportunity to work with regional sports programs
• Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care and clinical excellence in an outpatient setting

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency
• Completion of a Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery
• Additional Fellowship training in Sports Medicine is highly desirable, or a demonstrated clinical emphasis on pediatric sports
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
