Complex Cases

The AM2026 Scientific Program Committee invites all PRiSM members to contribute to the 13th Annual Meeting’s program through submissions of complex case reports. Submissions accepted for presentation will be made during the Multidisciplinary Approach to Complex Cases session at the Annual Meeting on Friday, January 30, 2026.
Any pediatric sports medicine topic is welcomed. Submissions of controversial cases, common problems with uncommon presentations, and uncommon problems are especially encouraged.
All submissions must include a panel of four (4) or more experts, representing diverse pediatric sports medicine disciplines (e.g., physical therapist, physician, athletic trainer, sports psychologist, dietitian, radiologists, endocrinologist, etc.) Panel experts are not required to have provided direct care to the patient. Experts will be expected to contribute to and participate in the case discussion relative to their discipline. Each complex case report will be allotted 25 minutes which includes a 10-minute case presentation and 15-minute moderated discussion. Basic computer and slide presentation technology is provided for the presentation.
Application submissions should include the following content:
• Title
• Presenter name(s) and email address(es)
• Patient history
• Physical examination findings
• Differential diagnosis(es)
• Tests and results
• Final diagnosis
• Clinical outcomes
• Role of each panel expert (how they will contribute to the discussion of the case)
